A taste from Scotland's Oldest Working Distillery
We love a good whisky, and Glenturret is both local and excellent. Our courses include down time to socialise and relax - with opportunities to discover more about the Strathearn region while you do so.
What better way than to taste a whisky made from the waters of Loch Turrret (3.5 miles away) using traditional, hand-operated, time-honoured methods (which have changed little in hundreds of years), from Scotland's oldest distillery?
We offer every learner a whisky tasting experience featuring 3 Glenturret single malt whiskies.
At Blue Noun, our course features:
THE GLENTURRET TRIPPLE WOOD EDITION, matured within 3 wood types - (American Oak, Sherry Seasoned and European) and tastes oaky, sweet and citrusy.
THE GLENTURRET SHERRY CASK EDITION, matured in European oak Sherry seasoned Casks (sweet, spicy, with hits of vanilla).
THE GLENTURRET PEATED EDITION, a combination of unpeated whisky and a heavily peated spirit (known as Ruadh Maor) which is sublimely smokey and sweet.
We include the excellent Glenturret Distillery Tour in our activities menu. Trust us - it only makes it taste better to see where and how it has been made. It's the start of a life-long love of Glenturret.
