The Spectacular Huntingtower Castle
Just outside Perth, Huntingtower Castle is superb.
A must see for Blue Noun English Language learners.
For castle fans, it is noteworthy for its two towers (built in the 15th and 16th centuries and joined by a range in the 17th century) as well as the remarkable painted ceiling in the hall of the eastern tower.
For history fans, it was was once owned by the Ruthven Family who held James VI captive here for 10 months.
For sensation seekers - Huntingtower Castle is an amazing visit with spooky winding staircases, high, sheer walls and a connecting bridge that gave me butterflies to cross. It is dramatic, medieval, Scotland at its best!
